Young People's Concerts

Young People’s Concerts are age-appropriate performances for elementary through high school students. These concerts are part of an integrated music curriculum administered by the Memphis City Schools through the pilot project Music, Math, Science and Technology. So that students are ready to learn when they arrive at the concert hall, MSO musicians visit the children in their schools for interactive demonstrations and performances. After the concert, the musicians return to the schools to help students process what they have experienced.

Young People’s Concerts are perfect for school groups and home school families! For more information, contact our Education Manager at (901) 537-2531 or education@memphissymphony.org.
