Among the Orchestra’s leading donors are the Symphony Fund donors who gain exclusive privileges by making a minimum donation of $10,000. Please consider joining this distinguished group of music lovers.
Like all great cultural institutions, the Memphis Symphony relies on private donations. The MSO earns 33% of its annual operating revenue from ticket sales. To make up the other 67% of the costs of producing concerts and programs, the MSO relies on contributions from the community. More than $2,500,000 in contributed revenue is needed each year to sustain the Symphony.
For generations, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra has been a vital part of our community. Your contributions help ensure a vibrant and enduring future for our orchestra, and continued musical inspiration for our entire community. Gifts in any amount are greatly appreciated and really do make a difference!
A contribution to the MSO supports:
- An outstanding concert season with more than 30 classical, pops and chamber performances of the highest quality, many including world-class guest artists

- Free community concerts in parks and on campuses throughout the region n Life-enhancing experiences that reach an audience of more than 80,000 annually
Exceptionally talented professional musicians whose presence in our community enriches our teaching institutions, our music industry and our arts - Distinction for our city as a center for first rate arts, culture and entertainment that promotes healthy social and economic development in the Mid-South
