10:00am – 11:00am Behind the Scenes

A Look Inside the MSO Culture: During this section, MSO musicians share their unique roles in the orchestra and the preparations they make to contribute to the overall success of the performance.

11:15am – 12:45pm Creativity Within a Structure

Viewing the Music from the Inside Out: In this exercise, participant teams are challenged to use musical instruments to create a short composition.   
 

12:45pm – 1:30pm Lunch

1:30pm – 4:00pm The MSO In Action

In the Middle of the Orchestra: With participants interspersed onstage, the MSO creates a transparent, interactive rehearsal process that demonstrates how individuals come together to achieve a unified goal.
