Sarah Beth enjoyed a long tenure as principal flutist of the Baton Rouge Symphony and the Louisiana Sinfonietta and continues to actively pursue a solo career. Sarah Beth has been a featured soloist throughout Louisiana, and is in frequent demand as a recitalist. In 1999, Sarah Beth gave her New York debut in Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, and enjoyed a return engagement in 2000.
In 2004, Sarah Beth toured Greece and performed a solo recital at the Sycrono Conservatory in Athens and was featured in a chamber concert at the Parnassas Theatre of Athens, premiering three pieces written for the concert. Also in 2004, she performed at George Washington University's Lisner Auditorium, Washington, DC sponsored by the Hellenic Society Prometheas, Greek Ministry of Culture and was a tribute to Greece and the 2004 Summer Olympics.
In 2002, Sarah Beth released her first solo CD, "The Girl with the Flaxen Hair," a collection of beloved French masterpieces by Debussy, Faure, Bizet and others. Sarah Beth's flute artistry can also be heard on other CDs including a collection by acclaimed composer Dinos Constantinides.
