Most influential musical teachers: Dora Marshall Short, William Berman, Francis Tursi, Judith Nelson
First Season with the MSO: 1979-1980
Teaching Positions: Suzuki violin/viola, Univ. of Memphis Community Music School's Suzuki String Program
As a Chamber Musician: MSO String Quartet B (was in MSU Graduate String Quartet for 2 years)
Appeared as a soloist with: Eastman Summer Baroque Ensemble, MSU Orchestra
Notable achievements: National Merit Scholar; Outstanding Teacher Award from Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts
MSO Community Involvement: CAPA Virtuosi (was in Soulsville program for 2 seasons)

What inspired you to make music your career: Grew up listening to parents' record collection ("classical" music) and attended symphony concerts from early age
Interesting Fact about yourself: traveled to USSR (at age 15) to study Russian language & lit.
