The ENTOURAGE

the young professional initiative of the future

The ENTOURAGE is a new initiative that is open to young professionals aged 21-39. ENTOURAGE memberships are $100 and require a 12-month commitment from its members. This intricately designed young professionals initiative will allow its members the opportunity for deep cultural immersion and personal and professional development through meaningful musical experiences, including (but not limited to) attending six pre-selected concerts (2 Masterworks, 2 Classical Accents and 2 Pops) during the season. In addition to concerts, ENTOURAGE members will be required to engage in personal and professional development through:

  • Attending in-depth orientation and all provided trainings.
  • Joining at least one ENTOURAGE committee and attending any committee meetings/events.
  • Collaborating with all ENTOURAGE members on one ENTOURAGE Host project per year.
  • Serving as an ambassador for the MSO in their respective personal and professional circles.
  • Interfacing with the MSO's University of Memphis Internship Program Candidates.

The ENTOURAGE consists of four committees:

  • Artistic Development
  • Audience Develoment
  • Fundraising and Special Events
  • Membership and Recruitment

Inferfacing with the DIGNITARIES

The mission of the DIGNITARIES is to provide philanthropic support to key Memphis Symphony Orchestra engagement initiatives, including but not limited to the ENTOURAGE. While philanthropic in nature and function, the DIGNITARIES have valuable ties to MSO's ongoing education and community initiatives and will count on millenials/young professionals to help execute those initiatives throughout the year. Our Memphis Symphony Orchestra DIGNITARIES serve as the "champions" for the MSO's young professional/millennial community and their engagement efforts by enhancing patron engagement and knowledge surrounding current programming within the MSO season.

What do DIGNITARIES do?

By financially supporting initiatives targeting the city's milennial and young professional population, the DIGNITARIES help to build and nurture the next generation of the MSO, ensuring that the symphony continues to be a constant in the Memphis community. DIGNITARIES are the key supporters of ENTOURAGE training opportunities, personal and professional development activities, and overall operations. Furthermore, DIGNITARIES are willing and able to serve as adults who impart wisdon to millenials/young professionals wihin the MSO Family.
